Amid verbalise for Bharat Ratna for Sachin Tendulkar, Polity has altered rules to pave way for eligibility of sportspersons for the highest noncombatant award of the country.
The new rules, providing for eligibility of persons excelling in comedian other than art, literature, ability and open function for Bharat Ratna, were notified on November 16, Sports Executive Ajay Maken told reporters in New City.
