Google begins India registration for Galaxy Nexus smartphone

Largely billed as the iPhone killer, technology giant Google’s Galaxy Nexus smart phone is all geared up for its sale in India. India will be one amongst the 18 countries in which Google plans to make its latest technological marvel available.

Google’s Galaxy Nexus will go out for sale later this month or early next month in US, UK, Canada, some European and Asian countries against Apple’s iPhone.
As a part of its launch campaign, Google has launched country specific web pages where prospective customers can register and receive updates on the Galaxy Nexus. These updates include disclosure of various features of the galaxy Nexus and the availability status of the smart phone.
India has also received its dedicated Google Galaxy Nexus webpage.  Apart from India, Google has launched country specific web pages for the following countries, Netherlands, Thailand, Taiwan, UK, USA, Portugal, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, France, Brazil and Australia. The concept of launching a sign up page for their device isn’t new to Google. Google had launched sign up pages for its earlier devices but had skipped India from the list.
